Hi, I’m Chinah.

Sexual issues are often misunderstood as purely physical problems, but sexuality is far more complex. As a holistic sex therapist, I recognize that sexual well-being is shaped by a dynamic interplay of psychological, relational, and environmental factors. Many misconceptions about sexuality—rooted in societal norms, cultural values, family expectations, and media portrayals—can leave individuals feeling isolated, ashamed, or uncertain. Society often promotes a narrow definition of what is "normal" or "functional," overlooking the deeper systems that shape our perceptions of desire, intimacy, and identity. My approach goes beyond addressing immediate concerns; I help clients explore the broader influences that impact their sexual well-being. By challenging limiting narratives and redefining sexuality on your own terms, I aim to support you in reclaiming your sexual self in ways that feel safe, affirming, and sustainable.

As a therapist, I bring a pleasure-centered, nonjudgmental, and affirming perspective to my work. I strive to create a safe, trauma-responsive, and culturally attuned space where you can explore your concerns and lived experiences openly. My style is characterized by compassion, directness, and appropriate humor, ensuring that therapy feels both supportive and constructive. I offer integrative psychotherapy tailored to each individual's needs, drawing from Systemic Sex Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. My work is deeply informed by anti-oppressive, anti-racist, sex-positive, queer, and feminist frameworks, allowing me to approach each client’s experience with nuance and care.

Beyond my work as a therapist, I am deeply committed to advocacy, social justice, and community engagement. I believe that fostering systemic change is just as vital as working with individuals in therapy. Outside of my work, I find joy in reading, skiing, climbing, rewatching comfort shows, cooking with my partner, and spending playful moments with my pets.

Therapy is a space for growth, healing, and discovery—I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
